    We lived in Orange Village, Ohio for 31 years and then retired to Mendocino, California in 1994. When in Ohio, we always went to the Burton Maple Syrup Festival, and fell in love with Burton maple syrup – much better tasting than Vermont or Canadian maple syrup. We have been ordering from Burton ever since, remembering the Burton Festival fondly.

    Thank you for having this syrup available online. I loved watching your syrup being hand crafted in the Burton sugarhouse when I was a child in the 1960's. I am thrilled to be able to pour it on my pancakes again. It is a wonderful treat!

    I have tried many types of maple syrup over the years, from store bought to tree tapped. By far, maple syrup that I have purchased from Burton, OH (the heart of sugar maple country in OH) is the best!! Every March, my husband and I go to the Pancake Breakfast held at the Burton Volunteer Fire Department. They have the best pancakes, pork sausage paddys and maple syrup you could ask for. That's why when I'm needing syrup, I go online and buy my syrup through the Burton OH Chamber of Commerce. That way I know I'm getting the best syrup available!!

    The medium amber syrup is delicious. It is not as delicate as light amber, but I think it has more flavor. No hint of bitterness that can be found in dark syrup or syrup that is harvested too late.

    grew up in Northern Ohio and each year the family would go to Burton for pancake breakfasts. No other maple syrup comes close to the flavor that Burton offers. Superb!! Thanks!!
